Santillana
First introduced by Dwight T. Porter, the Santillana captures the brilliance and charm of its namesake, the Marquis de Santillana, the fifteenth century poet credited with transitioning Spanish literature from Medieval to Renaissance. This table reflects his character by merging Spanish, Italian and elegant English influences. It features six legs, reminiscent of the Thurston billiard and snooker tables of the early 1800s and is carved of solid alder hardwood, with a Sheraton-styled fluted and tapered leg, ichthyus carved blind rails, and illustrious routed cabinet. Shown in Honduran Mahogany with piano finish, leather net drop pockets, hand-tied braid and silk tassels.
